Bharat Biotech seeks emergency use approval for Covaxin

After Pfizer and Serum Institute of India (SII), Bharat Biotech has applied for the emergency use approval for its Coronavirus vaccine, Covaxin. The Hyderabad based company has written to written to central drug regulator seeking emergency use authorization.

The vaccine has been developed by Bharat Biotech in collaboration with Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR)
