Asking question is a Fundamental right: Congress' Sharmistha Mukherjee backs protesting Delhi girl

View In AppMahila Congress president Sharmistha Mukherjee while speaking to the ABP News said that it is a fundamental right of any Indian citizen to ask questions to the government. Mukherjee strongly condemned Hyderabad rape case and also said that a single girl protesting peacefully outside the parliament is not a security threat to anyone.
According to Mukherjee, Delhi police is answerable for detaining the girl protesting peacefully and asking important questions over the security of women in the country.
A teenage girl in Delhi was detained and tortured by the lady constables who took her to the nearby police station after she held a placard with a slogan ‘why I can’t feel safe in my own Bharat’, protesting against the rising crimes against women in the country, outside the Parliament in the national capital on Saturday.
