Ashwini Upadhyay clarifies his stance on sloganeering at Jantar Mantar

Former Delhi BJP spokesperson and Supreme Court lawyer Ashwini Upadhyaya has called for a march to demand an end to 'colonial era laws' in India. The mob turned violent at the event and started raising inflammatory slogans. After the videos of the same went viral on social media Delhi Police registered FIR against the participants. Now, clarifying his stance Upadhyaya said that he is not aware when it happened, because the moment there were more than 50 people on the ground they called off the event. Calling the video fake, he also urged Delhi Police to investigate the matter.
