New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh BJP chief Bhupendra Chaudhary met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday. He apprised PM Modi of the ground situation in UP, reasons for the defeat in the Lok Sabha elections, and the condition of the workers.

Chaudhary highlighted two specific departments in the UP government - Home and Information. He informed PM Modi that the functioning of these departments was harming both the organization and the workers. He reported on the autocratic and unchecked actions of the police under the Home Department and claimed that a conspiracy was underway to assassinate the character of party leaders under the Information Department. Amid the discord in the UP BJP, Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav posted on social media X, "Bring A Hundred, Form The Government...!"
