Agrarian reform bills introduced in Rajya Sabha

All the three agricultural bills passed by Lok Sabha, Agriculture Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Bill 2020, Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Contract Bill 2020 on Price Assurance and Agricultural Services, Essential Commodities Amendment Bill have been introduced in Rajya Sabha today by Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar.

The bills are widely opposed by the opposition and the farmers are staging protests against them in different parts of the country.
