After onions, prices of potatoes on rise

After onions burnt a hole in common man's pockets, potatoes are following suit. The prices of potatoes are on a rise. This is a result of unseasonal rains which have destroyed the crops. One of the sellers told that shortage of potatoes led to higher prices as well.
