AAP Accuses BJP of Plot Against CM Kejriwal After LG's Secretary Raises Concerns Over His Health

In response to a letter from Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinay Saxena's Principal Secretary regarding Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's health, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Delhi Minister Atishi has alleged that the BJP is plotting against Kejriwal. Atishi criticized the BJP, claiming that the party is attempting to harm Kejriwal. She highlighted that Kejriwal’s blood sugar levels have repeatedly dropped below 50, putting him at risk of coma and potential brain stroke. This statement follows accusations made by the LG’s Principal Secretary, who alleged that Kejriwal is consuming fewer calories in jail, leading to significant weight loss. This concern was detailed in a letter addressed to the Delhi Chief Secretary. The letter from the LG’s Principal Secretary expresses concern over Kejriwal’s health, including specific details about his diet and insulin levels from June 6 to July 13. Despite receiving anticipatory bail from the Supreme Court in a case related to the ED, Kejriwal remains in Tihar Jail due to a separate judicial custody related to the Delhi excise policy case. The matter is still under consideration by the Delhi High Court, and a verdict has not yet been reached.
