Former Maharashtra DGP D Sivanandan on current developments in Mumbai Police: 'It's a crisis of leadership'
Former Maharashtra DGP D Sivanandan spoke about the ongoing developments in Mumbai Police. Sivanandan was the Chief of the Mumbai Crime Branch in the late 90s. During his tenure, 238 gangsters from several gangs, including Dawood, Chhota Rajan and Abu Salem gang, were killed in the encounter. D. Shivanandan is given credit for destroying the Mumbai underworld. He said that the current developments in Mumbai Police constitute a crisis of leadership.
