Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that spending Diwali with the armed forces, for him, is in the same spirit as celebrating Diwali with his family. He said that is why he has spent all his Diwali with the armed forces after assuming the constitutional post.

PM Modi said he has not come alone but has brought "wishes of 130 crore Indians. He also said every Indian will light one diya to convey his or her wishes for the brave soldiers of the country.
