Delhi News: Ghaziabad residents reeling under intense heat complain of long power cuts | ABP News

Long and frequent power cuts in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, have made the life of the city's residents even more difficult as temperatures in the Delhi NCR region touch the high 40s this summer. The situation is being attributed to shortage in power supply combined with high power demand due to the running of air conditioners and coolers. Locals complain that erratic power supply has not even resulted in lower electricity bills. Officials say that they are trying to address the situation to provide citizens some relief. The national capital region is reeling under intense heat with a steady temperature rise. The India Meteorological Department has predicted heat wave conditions in many parts of Delhi-NCR and severe heatwave conditions in some areas.
