Chhattisgarh: IAS Ranbir Sharma removed by CM Baghel after video of him hitting a man goes viral

Collector Ranbir Sharma slapped a young man during the lockdown implemented in Surajpur district of Chhattisgarh. After its video went viral on social media, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel instructed to remove District Collector Ranbir Sharma from Surajpur immediately and Sharma was removed from there. IAS Gaurav Kumar Singh has been appointed as the new District Collector of Surajpur.
