Calcutta HC directs West Bengal Govt to hand over post Election violence cases investigation to CBI

Mamata Banerjee government of West Bengal has received a major setback from the Calcutta High Court. The Calcutta High Court has directed the West Bengal government to hand over the investigation of the rape and violence cases to hand over to the CBI. The Court has also directed the West Bengal Government to form an SIT to investigate the other cases.
