2000 new Coronavirus cases in last 24 hours in the country

The number of COVID-19 cases in the country crossed the 26,000 mark on Sunday morning, making the total case tally 26496. In the last 24 hours, 2000 new Coronavirus cases have been reported and this is the maximum spike witnessed to date. Most of these cases have come from the already defined hotspots.
