BJP MLA Surendra Singh, who is now well-known for coming up with controversial statements, has once again breached the decency of language, this time while referring to Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi and party’s general secretary for UP East Priyanka Gandhi. Singh referred to Rahul as “Raavan” and to Priyanka as the mythological demon’s sister “Surpanakha”.
Singh did not stop at this and went on to call Congress a sinking ship. Taking a jibe at the party, he said that it is more of a sinking ship which managed a victory in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh because of SC/ST Act. It was because of this, that it could save a face in the assembly polls, otherwise, it would not win anywhere else, he claimed.
