Man beaten to death on suspicion of being 'child-lifter' in Chhattisgarh
In a shocking incident, a man was lynched to death in Chhattisgarh’s Mendrakla village on Friday, after he was suspected of being a ‘child-lifter’.
The victim, who is around 40-year-old, was confronted by a group of villagers on Friday morning, who asked questions from him about his identity and his whereabouts.
Failing to answer the questions, the man landed himself in trouble as the villagers had already stared spreading rumors of a gang of child-lifters.
The villagers suspected him of being a part of the gang and assaulted him to death.
