Lalu discharged from AIIMS, says it is a conspiracy to 'deteriorate his health'
Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Monday morning met convicted RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav who was admitted at the capital's AIIMS hospital. The Congress chief called on the RJD supremo to enquire about the latter's health before he was discharged this afternoon.
Prasad was lodged in Ranchi's Birsa Munda Central Jail since December 23 after being convicted in the Deoghar treasury case. On March 29 he was allowed to undertake specialised treatment by the special CBI court at AIIMS, Delhi. Earlier he was admitted to Rajendra Institute of Medical Science in Ranchi on March 17 after he complained of uneasiness at Birsa Munda jail. A RIMS medical board had decided to refer him to AIIMS.
