Jammu & Kashmir: Is former CM Mehbooba Mufti taking help of militants to save her political future?
Days after Bharatiya Janta Party pulled out of Jammu and Kashmir government, by withdrawing its support to PDP, leading to implementation of governor rule in the state, former Chief Minister threatened its former ally and dared it to not indulge in ‘horse trading’.
This comes at the time when several PDP leaders are reportedly breaking out of the party and are ‘joining BJP’.
Commenting on the same, Mufti said that this cannot be done unless there is an influence from Delhi. She further said that "like in 1987, After BJP tried to break the party, one Sayeed Salahudeen and one Yasin Malik were ‘born’; if central government tries to break PDP MLAs from the party, then he result will not be good".
Sayeed Salahudeen is terrorist group Hizbul Mujaheddin Chief, and Yasin Malik is separatist leader in Kashmir.
