India loses 1 MiG 21 aircraft, Pakistan claims pilot is in their custody

Ministry of External Affairs today holded press conference in which it said, "One Pakistan Air Force fighter aircraft was shot down by Indian Air Force. In this aerial engagement we have lost one MiG 21, the pilot is missing in action. Pakistan has claimed he is in their custody. We are ascertaining the facts."
Pakistan summoned Indian Deputy HC Gaurav Ahluwalia.
