Mahakumbh 2025: CM Yogi Reviews Preparations for Mahakumbh Amrit Snan, Meets Saints in Prayagraj

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has arrived at the ongoing Mahakumbh in Prayagraj. He is currently participating in prayers and rituals with the saints and seers. Today, CM Yogi will review preparations for the upcoming Amrit Snan scheduled on Mouni Amavasya, which is considered the most significant ritual of the Mahakumbh, attracting over five crore devotees. On this occasion, he will meet with the saints and also oversee Vishva Hindu Parishad's central advisory visit, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi's on February 5, President's visit on February 10, and Home Minister Amit Shah's visit on January 27.  Yesterday, a meeting of the Vishva Hindu Parishad's central advisory board took place, where saints raised demands, including transferring temple management to devotees. They also called for the abolishment of the "Waqf Board," questioning its legal status. VHP's meeting was followed by Udai Raj's remarks about focusing on development instead of population concerns. CM Yogi Adityanath is actively engaged in these discussions and reviews.
