Ground Report: Internet services shut; Section 144 continues but no violence in valley

A day after Union Home Minister Amit Shah abrogated the much controversial Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, the Modi government is now gearing up for the follow up actions in order to maintain peace in the newly announced Union Territory. According to reports, Indian Army and Indian Air Force have gone into high alert mode after the government announced decision to scrap Article 370 in Parliament. Even the National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, who has been constantly monitoring the situation in the valley, has reached Srinagar to handle the situation on ground.
