Government committed to make India a big manufacturing hub, tweets Amit Shah

After Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharman on Friday slashed corporate tax rates for domestic companies and new domestic manufacturing companies, Home Minister Amit Shah tweeted that the government is committed to making India a big manufacturing hub and this decision along with previous announcements on relaxing FDI will go a long way in realising this objective.
Making the announcement, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said: "In order to promote growth and investment, a new provision has been inserted in the Income Tax Act.
