Gandhi Jayanti: PM Narendra Modi pays tribute to Mahatma Gandhi

India is paying homage to Mahatma Gandhi — the Father of Nation on his 150th birth anniversary today. The entire nation is celebrating Gandhi Jayanti on October 2. There are number of events have been planned for today.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi pays homage to Mahatma Gandhi on his birth anniversary on Tuesday He pays tribute to 'Bapu' at Rajghat in the national capital.

He will also attend programmes related to sanitation and renewable energy. While the central government has planned for year-long celebrations to mark the big occasion.
