Flood affected people take shelter on NH 57 in Darbhanga, Bihar

Residents of Kakerghati village in Bihar's Darbhanga are setting up temporary shelters next to national highway-57after the floodwater entered their houses. While speaking to ANI, a police said, "Arrangements are being made to ensure safety of locals and to keep the road operational." "We are not getting anything from the government.
We are stuck here," a local told to ANI. Around 12 districts including Sheohar, Dharbangha, Sitamarhi, North Champaran, Madhubani, Araria, and Kishanganj have been severely affected due to water levels rising in rivers following torrential rains.
