Election Commission accepts reports of faulty EVMs during Kairana and Palghar by-polls

Several voting machines in bypolls for Kairana Lok Sabha and Noorpur assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh failed on Monday, a joint opposition candidate alleged as technical complaints during bypolls for two constituencies in Maharashtra came in.
According to reports, around 10 per cent EVMs are reported faulty in Palghar while 20 per cent in Kairana.
