Curfew in Itanagar post violence over residency certificates
In widespread violence in Arunachal Pradesh capital Itanagar on Sunday, Deputy CM Chowna Mein's house was attacked. Stones were pelted and vehicles were set ablaze. All this took place as protests took place against granting permanent resident certificates (PRC) to six non-native communities.
