According to ADG Prashant Kumar, Anand Giri has been taken into custody in relation to Mahant Narendra Giri demise case. As the president of the Akhara Parishad, Mahant Narendra Giri played a key role in the Kumbh Mela held in Ujjain, Prayagraj and recently in Haridwar.
