Congress-JDS agree on Kumaraswamy as CM, BJP falls short of majority
The Congress this afternoon said it had offered its backing to the Janata Dal-Secular (JD-S) to form a government in Karnataka following a hung Assembly. Both parties have reportedly agreed on Kumaraswamy as next chief minister. The JDS leader has arrived at his father Deve Gowda's residence to take a final call.
