CBSE class 12 topper Meghna Srivastava tells her success story to ABP News
The Central Board of Secondary Education today declared nationwide result of class 12 board examination today. The result declared is for the academic session of 2017-2018.
The overall pass percentage this year is 83.01% as against 82.02% last year. Girls outperformed the boys with a pass percentage of 88.31 % against boys' 78.99 %. The top three regions are Trivandrum (97.32%), Chennai (93.87%) and Delhi (89%).
Eight among the top ten toppers are girls. Meghna Srivastava from Step by Step school in Gautam Buddh Nagar (Noida) secured 499 marks out of 500 to top the list. Second came Anoushka Chandra from Ghaziabad's Vasundhara who got 498 marks. Third is Chahat Bodhraj from Neerja Modi School in Jaipur who fetched 497 marks.
