The Accidental Prime Minister is based on the book by Sanjaya Baru, which caused a stir back in 2014 and in the trailer, we see Anupam Kher swearing in as the Prime Minister of India back in 2004 after Congress won with general elections.
But what is noteworthy is Anupam Kher’s mothers reaction after she saw the poster of the film. Before the release of the trailer, Anupam Kher showed the poster of the film to his mother and Anupam Kher who is quite active on Twitter, posted a video of his mother and wrote, “Showed Mom yet to be released poster of #TheAccidentalPrimeMinister.
