The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed his condolence over the deaths of police personnel during the violent face-off with notorious criminal Vikas Dubey. He has also asked for a report on the situation from DGP Hitesh Chandra Awasthi. The Chief Minster’s office has said that the CM has paid his homage to the 8 policemen who lost their lives on duty in Kanpur. He has also directed the DGP to take strict action against the criminals responsible for the incident.
