Defeated By Ashok Gehlot, What Political Future Does Sachin Pilot Hold In Rajasthan Politics?
Looking at the political clout which was created in Rajasthan, it looked like that a Madhya Pradesh like situation would arise in Rajasthan as well. At least, the BJP managed to create this atmosphere. Jyotiraditya Scindia also actively came in support of his friend, Sachin Pilot. On the other hand, Ashok Gehlot tried to save his government sitting in Jaipur while Pilot tried to save his pride sitting in Delhi. Eventually, Gehlot's magic worked and Pilot's attempt to topple the government went to waste. The numbers in Rajasthan assembly are on Gehlot's side as of now. In this scenario, it would be interesting to see if Pilot joins the BJP or decides to stay with the Congress. Congress sent Randeep Surjewala, Avinash Pandey, and Ajay Maken to Jaipur. These leaders held talks with many regional politicians and also with Sachin Pilot and Congress loyalists. Congress has sent a clear message that the problems of the family will be heard inside the family, only.
