The Supreme Court has given a ruling in context to the ongoing struggle of the migrant workers on June 9. According to which, within 15 days the ones who have not reached home are to be sent in Shramik Special trains that must be arranged by the state governments with 24 hours. The three judges, Justice Ashok Bhushan, Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul and Justice M R Shah have stated in the verdict that arrangements for the work of the migrants are to be made based on what kind of work they were employed in other cities that they have left. This will also ensure that they get the benefits of the various schemes that the Central and state governments are running. The court has said that a detailed plan of action needs to be implemented further for this process. Find out more about this story in this video.
