Is All India Muslim Personal Law Board in contempt of court for their statement on the Ram mandir that is going to be constructed in Ayodhya?
Ram Mandir is being constructed in Ayodhya because of a Supreme Court order. But All India Muslim Personal Law Board recently used Turkey’s
Hagia Sophia as an example to state that the ‘Babri Masjid was and will always be a Masjid.’ Now a petition has been filed in the Supreme Court against AIMPLB. The plea says that the statement made by AIMPLB not only stokes communal hatred but also questions the integrity of Supreme Court judges. Therefore, the court should take action against the board.
