The Citizenship Amendment Bill recently became law and NRC may follow next. The NRC will decide who is a citizen of this country and who is not. People have different interpretations of it and because of that, one section is in support of it and the other in opposition. Those who oppose it are protesting against it on the streets. The center of these protests is a university called Jamia Millia Islamia.
