After becoming Bihar CM, Nitish Kumar did a job that was not expected at all. Nitish Kumar has made Mewalal Choudhary the Education Minister in his cabinet. Mewalal Chaudhary has a case of corruption against his name. However, when Nitish Kumar became the Chief Minister in 2005 and included Jeetan Ram Manjhi in his cabinet, there was an uproar, as Manjhi was accused of a BEd scam. Within hours of becoming a minister, Nitish took Manjhi's resignation. In 2015, the alliance with the RJD was also broken on the grounds of corruption. When the sting of another of his minister Awadhesh Prasad Kushwaha went viral, he took away the minister's post, and even cut Kushwaha's assembly ticket. But now Mewalal has been made a minister.
