Bihar: A woman chief in Sitamarhi changed the picture of Singhwahini Panchayat, surprised senior officers

It is generally believed that the head of a village does not have the power required to develop and transform the village. However, Ritu Jaiswal, the head of Singhwahini Panchayat in Sitamarhi district of Bihar, has proved it wrong.  The work that Jaiswal has done in the last four-and-a-half years has surprised even senior government officials.
