Assam, Mizoram & ceasefire between the two; know all about it | Ghanti Bajao | 29 JULY 2021

 For the first time, such a conflict was witnessed between Assam and Mizoram over some part of the land. In fact, in the year 1987, when Mizoram was made the 23rd state of the country, the delineation of the boundaries between Assam and this newly formed state was not done properly. Both Assam and Mizoram are mountainous regions that share a 164-km-long border with their respective three districts.
