New Delhi: A video purportedly showing a young woman and a man fighting over something inside a Delhi Metro train is being shared widely on social media. In the video, which has gone viral drawing a lot of comments from people who have both criticised and made fun of the two, the woman can be seen arguing over a "Rs 1,000 Zara T-shirt", which she carried in her hand in a packet.

The woman is also seen hitting the man, who then hits her back. This continues for some time before they get off the train at a station.

While multiple people have shared the video on Twitter, one post has been viewed nearly 3 lakh times in the last three days. Some said in the comments section that the fight looked like a scripted one.

While some users made fun of the video, calling it a "couple fight" and "wild love", some said it was a ploy to get attention on social media and sought action against such behaviour.

While the audio is not very clear, it appeared the argument started after the man disapproved of a T-shirt the woman had bought. While the woman can be heard saying it was a Zara T-shirt that she had bought for Rs 1,000, the man says it doesn't look like worth more than Rs 150.

It is not clear as to when and on which corridor of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) the video was shot.

"Passengers should behave responsibly whenever they use public transport. Behaviour which in any manner would cause inconvenience or discomfort to fellow passengers should be avoided," a PTI report quoted a DMRC source as saying.
