Serendipity Arts Festival has turned Goa into a place for experimentation. One can come across artists and curators exploring new ideas and forms. A video of an outdoor gym turned into an "incarnation park" by an artist is going viral after it was shared on the internet.
The artist, identified as Diptej Vernekar, focused on using outdoor gym to draw attention of people towards local artisans and the local technology behind their art. In the viral clip one can see people using gym machines with various moving art forms like Ravana placed on top of them.
The video was shared by Diptej Vernekar on Instagram with the caption, "This installation translates the process of moving these artefacts by making it accessible to the general public as an outdoor gym of incarnations."
"The artefacts, once used are then preserved for the rest of the year and created mostly be men," the caption further read.
Since being shared, the post has accumulated thousands of views, likes and comments.
One seeing the video one of the user wrote, "Love it!!!!!! Congratulations." While another user wrote, "This is too cool !!!".
"Very innovative work," a third user wrote . "This is creative," said a fourth.
The Serendipity Arts Festival was inaugurated by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and is currently taking place in Goa from 15th-23rd December.
