Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Awanish Sharan often shares posts on social media that draws the attention of internet users. This time Sharan took to the microblogging site Twitter to share a video of a woman installing safety lights on bicycles in Lucknow.

The 22-year-old Khushi Pandey took up the initiative of making riding a safer experience for others after her maternal grandfather was killed in a road accident in 2020. Supposedly the crash happened because the driver was unable to spot his cycle. Since then, Khushi has installed 1,500 free red lights on bicycles. She can often be seen standing on key intersections of the city holding a placard that reads, "cycle pe light lagwao".

Since being shared on Twitter by Sharan with the caption 'God Bless You', the video has amassed close to 4 lakh views and tons of comments.
