Villagers in Pilibhit's Atkona village in Uttar Pradesh were taken by surprise after they spotted a tiger resting on the wall of a gurudwara. The tiger, which came out of the Tiger Reserve forest in Pilibhit reached the village in the night and was seen resting on the wall the next day as well.


A huge crowd gathered to see the big cat and the unusual scene. 


The video of the tiger is now being widely shared on social media. 






"The tiger, which came out of the Tiger Reserve forest in Pilibhit district and reached Atkona village in the night, is still resting on the wall of the Gurudwara," said the All India Radio News on X. 


"A huge crowd has gathered to see the Tiger. A security cordon has been created by the Forest Department using  a net. Police administration officials have also reached the spot," the post read further. 


The villagers could be seen capturing the tiger's video on their mobile phones. 


The video has garnered some humourous reactions from netizens.
