A video of a road accident has surfaced in Sikar district of Rajasthan, in which a person riding a Thar first hit a young man and then sped away, causing the car to crash into an electric pole. The incident captured on the phone went viral on social media.

Due to the pole breaking, there was no electricity in the area for 8 hours. The police have started investigating the matter.

Soon after the video came to light on social media, online users came up with mixed reactions in comment sections. One of the netizens sharing his own experience said, "Last rain he hit my nephew from behind in the same manner, then while trying to escape he hit him again and while running he collided with a pole ahead, the police were there and they went and caught him, People drive at high speed even in the streets and neighborhoods, it has become difficult for children to play."
