Kuala Lumpur International Airport recently witnessed chaos after a monkey found its way into Terminal 1 and was unable to find its way out from there. A video of the monkey climbing high up on a window support inside the airport. was posted on the Facebook page of the Malaysia Airports, the company that manages most of the airports in the country. The clip immediately went viral after it was shared on the social networking site.


"Poor buddy! Must be feeling completely overwhelmed! Hang in there! We are getting the abang specialists from Jabatan Perhilitan to rescue you!" read the post.


They also suggested the passengers to remain calm. “To all passengers at KLIA T1, our airport team is on the ground to monitor the situation. Please stay calm and do not worry. Help is on the way for our little lost friend," the post further read.

Wildlife officers from the Department of Wildlife and National Parks of Peninsular Malaysia safely removed the monkey from the premise.


The officer were successful in rescuing the little creature by using a lifting platform. The monkey was then placed inside a cage before being released back into the wild.


The news of the monkey successful being rescued was posted by the Malaysian Airports in a follow up tweet.


"Our furry friend has been saved! Thank you Adam Perhilitan for being heroes of the day! This little guy can now go home to his family safely. What an adventure he must have had. Many thanks to the airport team too for staying vigilant and ensuring the safety of passengers throughout the commotion,"  read the post.
