A scene from the famous web series 'Panchayat 3' unfolded in real life during an Independence Day event in Chhattisgarh. The entire incident was captured on video that has surfaced online. Watching it immediately reminds one of the 'Go Kabutar Go' scene from the web series, the third part of which was released earlier this year in May.

In the video footage, which has gone viral on the internet, the top administrative officials, apparently invited as chief guests for an Independence Day event, were releasing pigeons into the sky as part of the ceremony. However, one of the birds failed to take flight and instead came crashing down on the ground, leaving the officials shocked.

The incident occurred during the August 15 celebrations at Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium in Chhattisgarh's Mungeli.

The dignitaries were standing on the stage and were handed pigeons one by one to release into the sky, symbolising peace and freedom on the Independence Day. However, when Superintendent of Police (SP) Girija Shankar Jaiswal released the pigeon, it failed to take flight and instead fell to the ground, whereas the others flew off successfully. The SP can then be seen asking someone to go on check on the pigeon, as seen in the video.

The incident was captured by the people gathered at the event and later surfaced online on social media platforms.

Watching the video immediately reminded the social media users of a similar scene from the Panchayat 3 web series, where the character of an MLA Chandrakishore Singh aka 'Vidhayak ji', played by Prakash Jha, attempts to release a pigeon during an event in the village saying 'Go Kabutar Go'. However, it ends up falling to the ground, just like how it happened in reality with SP Jaiswal.

It remains unknown as to what happened to the pigeon or what its present condition is.

In a separate incident, a video from an Independence Day celebration in Kerala went viral on the interent. The video showed a bird that seemed to have unfurled the national flag which was stuck.
