Fake Blood, Pregnancy Test, fog machine and an ankle monitor are some of the bizarre things that Uber riders forgot in their cabs this year, according to the 2023 Uber Lost & Found Index. The latest list provides a snapshot of riders’ most commonly forgotten and most unique lost items.

Wallets, headphones, clothing, phones, books, keys, purses and jewellery were among the most commonly forgotten items in Uber cabs across the world. While some of the weirdest things to be left behind were, Mannequin wig head, fingernails and two painted rat traps.

"Clothing, phones, keys, and wallets topped the list once again of the most commonly forgotten items, but as always, riders have been leaving their unique (and sometimes quite unusual!) items behind, too. This year, we saw folks forget everything from a Danny DeVito Christmas ornament to a fog machine to six cheesecakes-and that's just to name a few," revealed the Lost & Found Index.

Apart from the 10 most commonly forgotten items and 50 most unique lost items, the index also included the 10 most “forgetful” cities.

Jacksonville, Houston, Salt Lake City, Miami and San Antonio in the United States were named among the top 10 most forgetful” cities.

The list also mentioned lost items that peak on certain days. On Saturdays it was the passport the most passengers forgot, while on Sundays people forgot groceries and on Mondays chargers were among the most left behind items.
