One of the videos also showed bus commuters standing on top of the rainwater sponge structures dangerously waiting to board the bus. While the user was supposed to take the bus, he opted to stay out of it as he didn’t want to endure an injury while rushing over the pavement.
This began a whole conversation on social media with Netizens pointing out the sad conditions of public pathways and roads in the city. One of the users sarcastically commented, “To be honest this is a better footpath Ofcourse contractor has eaten lot of money with poor work. There are some where it's broken or cut or have deeper hellholes or garbage strewn or blocked or parked. In some places they don't exist and pedestrians just hope they don't trip!”
