A picture of a Bengaluru man holding a placard that reads "Legalise Dog Meat. Sign my Petition", has gone viral on the internet. The photo posted on X (formerly Twitter) has garnered mixed reactions from the users who are questioning the motive behind such a  move. Pet enthusiasts in particular are finding it quite unsettling.


The picture was shared on X by Rugved in which a man is seen standing on Bengaluru streets holding the "Legalise dog meat" placard.






Since being shared, the picture has garnered over 4 lakh views, 1,266 likes and tons of comments.


"Nah bro still chicken has more protein than dog meat next time come up with a better animal," commented one user on the post.


"Idc who needs to read this but loving only dogs doesn't make you an animal lover," wrote another user.






"i don't eat any meat but how does it bother people more than other animals? someone explain pls," commented one user on the post, commented a third.






While another explained the possible reason behind such a move and wrote, "the dude is actually vegan. when I asked him what he was on about he said "if you can eat chicken why cant you eat dogs". after around 30 mins of arguing i went "why hold this sign if youre vegan" and he simply said "would you stop if it said be vegan". Its actually very smart."
