Just like humans, animals too poses great emotions and are immensely protective and caring towards their family members. In a video that has gone viral on social media, a baby gorilla has been captured putting on a fierce display of bravery to protect his mother. The clip is an extraordinary display of bond and courage between these creatures. The video posted on Reddit instantly grabbed the attention of users for the courage shown by the little gorilla.

In the video, two gorillas get into a fight over something. Once the baby, half the size of the adult gorillas, notices them fighting, he jumps in to stop them.  At the end, the mother gorilla succeeds in chasing away the Silverback gorilla after her. 

Since being shared the video has amassed 14,000 upvotes on Reddit.

"Gorilla dynamics are interesting, any male who doesn't treat the kids nice and help out are basically kicked to the curb by all the female gorillas. So even aggressive silverbacks will play with the kids and be nice around them," commented one user on the video.
