Smriti and Zubin had become friends during her modelling days and she had opened up in an inverview before, saying, I married Zubin because I needed him. I was consulting him, talking to him and meeting him every day. So we said why not marry and be best friends as well as a married couple. Both my parents and his agreed to our marriage and blessed us.

Although the couple often shares their pictures, also along with their three kids, Zohr Irani, Zoish Irani and Shanelle Irani(daughter born to his first wife Mona) but their latest interaction is the ultimate romantic!
