‘Thank You Modiji For Acche Din’ TRS Leader KTR Takes Dig At PM Modi After Fuel Price Hike

Hyderabad: K. T. Rama Rao, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) working president, took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday, saying, "Thank you Modiji for Acche Din."

KTR also shared previous Modi tweets from his time as Gujarat's chief minister. On May 23, 2012, Modi tweeted that the significant increase in Petrol prices was prime evidence of the Congress-led UPA government's failure.

In another tweet in October 2014, the Prime Minister had claimed 'Since we formed the government, petrol & diesel prices came down. We are committed to removing the obstacles our nation is facing'.

KTR also reacted to the Union government's Jal Jeevan Mission-Har Ghar Jal advertisement.

He urged the Prime Minister to inform the people of Telangana about the amount of the Union government's contribution to the Telangana government's Mission Bhagiratha scheme, which aims to provide drinking water to every family.
